Welcome

For over three decades, the Albuquerque Philharmonic Orchestra has been a great community asset by providing a place for accomplished amateur musicians to play and by offering free classical music concerts to the community.

It is a tradition with our orchestra to perform, whenever possible, with local professional musicians and other local musical groups. This year is no exception as we are very fortunate to be able to play with several outstanding guest musicians. We expect this season to be better than ever!

If you are a musician who enjoys our concerts and would like to play with us, contact our personnel manager, Joyce Carabajal at 505-264-0416 for information regarding available positions.

Our non-profit organization is funded by contributions from orchestra members and the general public, and by selling advertisements in our Ad Journal. Your support is appreciated as we incur significant expenses renting concert halls, purchasing and renting music, and producing our programs.

Re: Concert at the KiMo Theater during the Festival
    There has been nothing but very high praise for your performance, of Sunday Feb. 10th, during the opening of the Italian Film Festival. Those of us who are involved in the Festival are so grateful and so proud to have you be a part of this event.
    The praise from our patrons has been incredibly positive. Many expressed great appreciation for your playing and for the program of music chosen. For some, who had not heard you play before, they were effusive in their comments about the quality of music that you presented.
    We are all grateful to you for the contribution that you have made to the Children’s Hospital, through your performance. We are tallying up our costs and revenues and will soon be able to announce at final amount that we will be able to turn over to them.
    We would very much like to include the Orchestra again in future Italian Film Festivals.
